Perfectionism is Blocking You.

I see perfectionism as a way of procrastination. It's getting in your own way and blocking yourself. There is no such thing as perfect, but there is a good enough. Wanting to be perfect comes from a place of lack and trying to prove something but being good enough is knowing you've tried and done your best.

Perfectionism also has a fear component . Being afraid of judgement, not getting the raise, the client or finishing the project. It causes anxiety, stress and feeds in to not being "deserving". When you can trust that you have done your best, you get out of your own way and let your work be seen. Bottom line perfectionism is hurtful for your emotional health and self esteem.
