It's more important than ever to create a home that is a place for you to recover and restore.
We are in the Fire Horse year, a year of rapid movement with the energy of a horse that loves freedom. Fire is a wonderful element that can bring expansion, passion, freedom but also destruction and transformation. To create kindness, inner- peace and self love, the simplest way to do this is with plants. Plants represent the wood element in Feng Shui and wood feeds and supports fire. Caring for plants also helps us cultivate kindness as we nurture them and watch them grow. They also bring in more oxygen as they take in all the pollutants in the air. Creating a cleaner and more beautiful space while incorporating nature in to our home.
If you want to try this, bring three new plants into your space and place them in your Love & Relationships area (the pink section of the Bagua). To find it, stand at your front door and look toward the far back-right corner of the room. If you prefer you can do this in your bedroom.
The intention here is to cultivate self-care and self-love. When you nurture your mind, body, and spirit, your nervous system can truly settle. Bring a few new plants into your space this season and see how they transform both your home and your spirit.
